Why does a monitor has Red, Green and Blue colors and a printer Cyan, Magenta and Yellow?
This has to do with the background.
A monitor is black and colors are added.
A piece of paper is white and the ink is used to remove colors.
The interactive table shows which colors are used by monitors and printers to make a specific color.
Color | Black (000000) | White (FFFFFF) | Color | |||
Red Green Blue |
FF0000 00FF00 0000FF |
00FFFF FF00FF FFFF00 |
